Central Park is not only an amazing place to visit but it is truly a work of art. It is one of the most remarkable places in New York City to visit. There are many varied and unique areas within the park where you can see the “Manhattan Adirondacks” with real waterfalls (of course, they aren’t huge), magnificent sculptures, a castle, beautiful gardens and even one of the best “birding” spots in the United States. The list of things to see is really endless.

Central Park is big and although we cannot see everything of interest, moving at a steady pace, we can accomplish quite a lot. You will be surprised at just how much you can see in a relatively short time.

The Central Park Hike is designed to be completed in less than 2 1/2 hours and we will end up walking about 3  miles. However, for those who are more ambitious,  the tour can be increased to cover almost the entire park. Depending on the needs of the participants, this longer tour could last almost 4 hours and cover more than 7  miles.  In either case, you are still going to enjoy yourself.
